Happy December, ALBC Family!
Our family had a refreshing time away visiting family in Texas for Thanksgiving. I want to thank Gary Rader for the message that he brought to you all while I was gone. We are thankful for the chance to be with loved ones and thankful to be home to celebrate the birth of our Savior this month with all of you!
There are many things to look forward to this month! On Monday, December 14th, anyone who would like to is invited to join Alicia Adams and Jill Gahman in the lobby of Manor Care Nursing Home (located on N. Charlotte St. in Pottstown) at 7 p.m. to go Christmas caroling. Please plan on joining us for this special evening of encouraging these precious people. Please let Alicia know if you will be attending.
On December 20th, we will be hosting our annual Happy Birthday, Jesus Party for all kids, ages 3-12. Please plan on inviting children in your life to this special event where they will hear the story of how and why Jesus came. While the kids party, the grown-ups will be enjoying our Community Christmas service. Again, be thinking of people that you can invite out to this event.
On Christmas Eve, at 6 p.m., start Christmas off with a special candlelight service with us. This service only lasts about an hour, but always serves as a meaningful start to Christmas.
During this special time of year, it is a blessing to be a part of such a loving church family. Our Christmas Series, Discover Peace, begins this Sunday. Come out to worship Jesus and the center your heart upon His birth as we navigate all that this season holds for us.
See you Sunday,
