Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
— Psalm 100:3-5

This Sunday is such a special day for ALBC.  We will be having a special Thanksgiving service where you all will be given the opportunity to share with our church family about how God's goodness has impacted you this year.   I look forward to this service as it is one of my favorites of the year.

We are working on preparing for our small group winter semester that will run from January through March.  If you would be interested in hosting a group at your home, please contact Amy and let her know.

I wanted to update you on our family's adoption court plans.  At this moment, we still do not know when Amy and her dad will be traveling to Ethiopia as the document that the courts requested still has not been obtained by our agency.  We would like to ask for you all to pray that this document would soon be procured, as we want to get a court date soon, so that we can all be home for Christmas.  Amy's dad and I will exchange places in the middle of her stay.  We are confident that all of this is in God's hands, but it has been hard on us not knowing exactly when court will be.  Thank you for standing with and praying for us.

See you on Sunday,
Pastor Randy
