Hi ALBC Family!

What a wonderful Easter celebration we all had together!  I am so thankful for the many visitors that we had join us for the worship of our risen Savior and for the decisions that were made for Christ.

Small groups are the heartbeat of our local church and the main reason behind the authentic community that is being fostered among us.  I love being in a group and am so grateful the way that God has used them in my life.

The way that we have structured our small group ministry is that is operates on a semester schedule.  That means that groups meet for three months.  Then, all of the group's end and we have one month off for everyone to sign-up for a new small group that will meet for another 3 months.

This coming Sunday is exciting because April is a sign-up month, so all of the new small groups will be out to sign-up for!  I am thrilled about new leaders who are stepping up and seasoned ones who are still serving God in this shepherding role.

Take a look at your schedule now to figure out what times would work for you to participate in a group.  Because we want to keep groups small enough for people to feel comfortable to share, we will be closing groups when they reach a certain number, so the sooner you sign-up for the group that interests and works for your schedule, the better.

This Sunday is the final opportunity for women to sign-up for the annual Women's Beach Retreat.  Kim Mayse and my Amy have put together a program called "Hope and Purpose."  This time away is great for connecting with one another and encouragement, so if you are married, men, let me encourage you to make it possible for your wives to attend.  I know that it is rough without her, but it will be so valuable for her.

See you Sunday,
Randy
