ALBC Newsletter

Dear ALBC Family,

After traveling for about 48 hours, we safely arrived in Ethiopia today.  We thank God for being with us for each moment of this journey.  Because of an airline delay, we are not able to go and see Ruby today.  We will get a good night's sleep and will be at the children's home the moment it opens tomorrow morning.  The amount of anticipation that we are feeling as a family cannot be put into words.  We also could never express what you all have meant to us on this journey.  The countless texts, a ride to the airport, and all of your prayers have strengthened us.  You have loved us so well and we are humbled.

I am so thankful for the good hands that ALBC is in while we away.  If you need to know anything logistically, Liz Presutti can answer your questions.  This Sunday, Gary Rader will be speaking and Brian Jones will be presenting Liberty Ministries to the congregation.  Our family will miss being with you all and will be praying for the services while we are away.

On Sunday, August 28th, Lisa Heverly will be presenting the ministry of Operation Backpack.  For this whole month, we will be conducting a food drive to help fill their shelves as they begin providing food for area children in need each weekend when school starts.  Donations can be brought to any Sunday service this month.  You can access the list of food they are in need of here:  www.obpottstown.org.  Let's blow Lisa away with a great amount of the food they need to begin this school year!

Our Fall Semester Small Group Sign-Up table will be out this Sunday as well.  Come ready with your availability, so that you will be able to sign-up for a group as they often fill up fast!  I love small groups and can't wait for them to start up again in September!

We love you and miss you,
Pastor Randy
