Dear ALBC Family,
I hope that you all felt as encouraged as I did last Sunday when my friend, Tim Doering, opened the Word for us. I am so thankful for the way that my brother was able to step in when I needed to be with my family in TX last week. My dad is doing much better, so thank you for praying for him.
This Sunday, I look forward to celebrating communion with you all. Joining together around the Lord’s Supper is part of what makes us a church and it is such a special opportunity, so come ready to worship our Savior in this way.
We will also be starting a new sermon series this Sunday entitled, “Wisdom and Poetry.” For the next several weeks, we will focus on the various books in the Old Testament that fall under the category as Wisdom Literature or Poetry. I look forward to us unpacking the rich truths that God has for us out of the beautiful books.
This coming Tuesday is a special time of prayer just for women at 7 p.m. at Buckman’s Inc. (105 Airport Road, Pottstown 19464.) I encourage all the women of ALBC to make this a priority as I know that you will have a great time connecting with each other and praying for various needs within our individual families, church and community. Due to some logistics, Men’s Time of Prayer will not take place this Saturday, however we will kick off summer together on Saturday morning, June 3rd at 8 a.m. at Buckman’s.
See you on Sunday,
