Happy Fall, Y'all!

Dear ALBC Family,

I hope that you are all enjoying this sunshine and crisp fall weather.  We are looking forward to some good “family time” this coming Saturday night at our annual Fall Fest.  I am so thankful for all who are preparing for this time together to be great!  If you have not yet signed up to attend, please plan on coming and let Liz Presutti know that you are at or respond to the Facebook event some time today.  Don’t forget to bring your chairs!
This past Sunday’s core meeting was such a blessing to me personally to hear about what is going on within the ministries of ALBC.  A healthy, growing church needs volunteers and the way that you all signed up to use your gifts and abilities to serve one another and community is a beautiful thing.  If you missed the core meeting, these are some areas where we are looking for some more volunteers:  Grace Place Teachers, Nursery, Reach Special Needs Ministry, Communion Set-up, Slides on Sunday, Greeters, the Meal Ministry and the Prayer Team.  If you would like more details concerning any of these ministries or if you would like to volunteer, contact Amy Mullens at
Operation Christmas Child has always been a part of our Christmas celebration at ALBC.  The boxes are due on Sunday, November 15th.  Start planning now for filling your boxes!  May I challenge you to fill one more box than you did last year?  When we think of all that we have in this country compared to most of world, it is a joy to share with underprivileged children knowing that they will also be receiving the gospel along with these gifts.  You can find more information here:
Looking forward to a lobby full of boxes on November 15th!
This Sunday we will continue in our “Engage Life” series on Philippians.

. . .but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
— Philippians 3:12

May God Bless you,
Pastor Randy
