ALBC Newsletter

Hello from Texas, ALBC!

I hope you are having a great week enjoying the Lord and “hiding under the refuge of His wings’ as we discussed on Sunday.
I wanted to thank so many of you who have been praying for my Dad, Eddie Mullens.   He had to have several emergency blood transfusions over the weekend.  This was a big surprise to all of us as my Dad has always been very healthy.  I decided to come down and be with him for a few days.  Please keep praying.  On Tuesday, we found out that his dangerously low iron levels could possibly be due to an ulcer that’s been bleeding, off and on, for a very long time.  We are definitely hoping that this, in fact, is the case, as it is treatable.  I appreciate all of you who have been praying!
On Sunday, June 4th, we will be responsible for the church service at Parkhouse Rehab/Nursing Facility in Royersford.  We were so blessed when we were there on Palm Sunday and I encourage you all to join us for this service!  It means so much to these dear people to see your friendly face and that of your children!
Our annual Vacation Bible School outreach will be each evening of July 23-26.  Please plan now to be a part of this effort!  We honestly have as much fun together as a church family working together as the kids do!
Thanks again for all your prayers. I will be heading back to PA on Saturday and look forward to being with you on Sunday.

P.S. - Due to my impromptu trip, we will not be having "Men's Time of Prayer" this week. I look forward to being with you all again for this special time on May 27th.
